PAPERTAKE WEEKLY CHALLENGE SKETCH 35

Morning folks and it's still a real snowy scene here. Hope there's no more this next week, want to get to Glasgow craft fair, will not be a happy bunny. Not really needing anything but have made a list, hee hee!! Well, is there a crafter out there that can resist all that yummy stash?

For the life of me I couldn't remember which challenge I had made this for, had to troll through all the postings to find it and it's not the first time, doh!!
Follow the sketch and wanted to keep it simple, my friend doesn't like overdressed cards. Decoupage for a change (although hate cutting out)

My ingredients
White pearlized cardstock
Papers and image Daisy Downloads
button, pearls, ribbon from stash
A lovely weekend to you all.x

INSPIRATION

We all need it at sometime to get us going. Having a bad day when your brain just won't wakeup and just wants to be on another planet  and no amount of lovely stash (grows by the day! shhhhhhh!!!!!)surrounding me will coax it into start mode, doesn't it know I love crafting and just want to have fun. Thank heavens it does remember who I am and thankfully it is a good time at present, so make hay while the sun shines  I say! (actually it's snowing and drifting like mad here so I could be crafting for quite a while, yipeeeeeeeeeeee).

I seen this card on Kaths blog and in the flesh (just gorgeous) at a demo earlier this month,  . Love her creations.
Made for my own personal collection, did alter it slightly, so I could call it my own.
Thanks Kath
Craft away, all day, well for some of us, anyway.

TAG, DISTRESS,EMBOSS, CUT IT OUT AND POP IT ON, MESSY

Evening folks, snow, snow, snow and there's more to come. Forecasters saying up to 50cm and drifting so things could get pretty wild . Apart from a few days last week, we have had snow lying around our farm since before Christmas. Was really frosty at the beginning of the week and it kindly burst the pipe feeding the washing machine and got a cold shower trying to shut the water off. Water spraying everywhere Stayed inside all day and looks like tomorrow will be the same. Hopefully will spend it crafting.
Today I have spent playing with some of my new buys and got so engrossed hubby came home and I hadn't started the dinner.
The tag's a first for me, I like the finished result, hope you do to.

This is the Life!

Morning from me up in snowy Aberdeenshire. Blue sky and sunny up above, not being a dab hand at photography had problems taking photos of this card. Had to give up in the sunroom, they all came out so pastey looking so off to the kitchen, darker in there. Onto my card, ready for the next birthday due, am not always so organized.

Fairy Godmother

This is for my future daughter-in-law Kelly's Nana who will be 70years young this month.

Black and white was the order of the day. Decided on a penny slider to give the fairy movement. Was better pleased with my colouring on this one. Decided it was the stumps I was using. The better quality ones did a better job.

Attemped making the flower top left corner. Not bad for a first attempt! Seen a tutorial on line somewhere, they used nesties flowers, I used my Cricut.

Craft Demo with the lovely Kath

Behind with everything, just getting my pics of the demo on Sat at the Papercrafts Boutique Elgin uploaded. Was such a fabby day for me and hopefully for my crafty friends to. Kath did not disappoint us, learned so much from her ( what really sunk in is anotherthing)and her cards are stunning and you don't need to spend a fortune on them to look sooo pretty (where did I go wrong then I wonder!!!!!), bought oodles of stash, still lying on my table, want to savour them before I put them away and because that wretched housework chore had to be done thought I would get it out of the way first. After a weekend of family staying my house always looks like an earthquake has struck

HEARTS

Afternoon to you all out there, really cold hear and plenty of snow again!!   Never mind I'm all cosy in my Sunroom surrounded by my craft stash, kind of taken over this haven but managed to leave a space to have hubbies chair.  I just want to say thank heavens for blog challenges, seem to be going through a go slow spell and they really help to get me motivated. It seems to be all hearts and romance so hopefully I can fit my card into a couple of challenges this week. Have followed this lovely sketch on A Spoon Full of Sugar.
