Baby Boy

Another baby card today. The image is an Alpha bear from LOTV coloured with Copics. Along with a matching gift bag. Have had the gift bag punch board for a couple of years and never did much  with it so an afternoon trying out different sizes. Theres me buying for small gifts and the very thing lying on a shelf doing nothing, tut tut, bad crafter!

Oh Baby

Been a long long time getting this cutie into my collection. Seen a card made with it on the web and no mention of the designer. Had to message and ask but they said they couldn't remember so I searched and searched everywhere and came upon it by accident looking in dis shop  more than a year on. . So frustrating when you want something and can't find it anywhere lol! Coloured her up with Copics and used Scrapeberry Papers and a random baby paper from another collection. Finished off with buttons (love buttons for baby cards) stitched with cream linen thread coloured with a Copic to match.

Cute!

Been awhile as usual since I posted anything on here. My track pad on my mac decided to go awol and eventually had to put it into Apple. Ouch, that was a sore one I can tell you but gritted my teeth and have moved on from the shock price tag getting it sorted. Its back and have loads of cards to upload as been ignoring the housework and having fun in my craft room.
 Had a play with the Tonic Studio shadow box dies, had them for ages and only made two items with them Like a lot of other craft die in my storage space. Used cuties from MFT coloured with Copics.

Matt or Shiny!

Morning, running late as usual with my post for As You Like It. Must try and be more organised, I'm even more out of sorts since hubby called it a day, not that he's sitting about idle here apart from all the cups of tea he keeps popping in for,he does still have a full time job here on the farm to keep him occupied so work goes on but least I see him in the evenings now.

I'm mostly a matt card and paper person, like to add touches of the shiny stuff, makes it pop. I have used Nitwits papers, they are supposed to be of blue colours but my photo skills on this one gone awol. So much prettier in real life. Kept it very simple and I have added a wee bit of the shiny stuff, a Teddy charm.

Nothing all week and then I hit you with two cards in one day. Had to pull out all the stops and search for Mr Mojo. A bit of coaxing , we finally got on like a house on fire lol! Initially I was just going to make the gift tag but so loved colouring up my Stampfairy image Lenny Notes that I decided to make a card to go with it. Then wasn't sure what event I would make it for but settled for a baby card.

Baby Girl

Well I finally got my baby cards made. Have chosen a Sugar Nellie for this one, it's called Cute and Cuddly. You can get their lovely stamps from Funkykits or even better a trip to their fab shop in Elgin/Oldmeldrum if you live near enough. Had a browse through their Oldmeldrum shop the other day, well some arm action was involved lol, a couple of new things to play with hopefully over the next couple of days. Some more pen storage arrived from Cardcraft-UK, was here in a flash, like online stores that keep us crafthappy.. Looks like a day spent getting my Pros re -labelled and back in an orderly fashion. Have bought big dots for the ends so I can see the colours much better but I'm thinking there going to be so much more inviting for the grandkids too, I want them, Nana!!!!!! Robbie! Leave them alone, they're mine lol! As bad as the kids, ha ha.

DT card for Fashionista Challenge

Shhhhhhhh!

Woo hoo! We've had a mini heat wave lol. A few blinks of Sunshine today and where was I.......  stuck inside a central heated bungalow for most of it. Never mind got home and managed a coffee on the patio before time to make dinner.
A baby Boy card today using a LOTV cutie, coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. Papers from Forever Friends, New Arrival. Mmnnn, the matted card has come out quite dark for some reason, never mind you get the jist. 

Challenges I would like to enter.....mmmnnn, couldn't find any and just too tired now to nosey about lol. Have a good evening  Off to put my feet up instead.

Oh Baby!

 Morning, what on earth am I doing on here I do not know! And even worse, what have I let myself in for! No I haven't ;lost the plot, well not just yet but I've gone and let myself in for a night of entertaining tomorrow night, not just a sit down and a chat kinda night either, The full works is what I.ve let myself in for, yes a dinner for seven adults, gosh I can feel myself groaning to the soles of my feet. What on earth was I thinking of. But then again I couldn't accept another invitation to theirs and feed off them once again, now could I. HELP!! Okay panic mode has to stop, get over it Carol and call for some help. Have roped in my youngest son Rhys to help tidy up, where we hide everything I do not know, my house is like a Curiosity shop, just can't let go of the rubbish, which my sons call it, go. And speaking of rubbish, why don't they take away all theirs.... maybe not such rubbish after all eh! Nothing too fancy on the meal menu and I know I will be calling on Kelly to work her magic on the sweet. So PLEASE don't call and say your not coming out this weekend.  Chocolate Foundants, the puddings with the running center, yummie. Right, better get cracking and so to my card. Backing made in two halves, top half, used Hero Arts small dots stamp, embossed in white and background inked with TH inks. Lower piece embossed with stitching embossing folder then added fiskars border. Used a LOTV image coloured with Promarkers and added checked ribbon and Candi to finish.

New Beginnings over on By The Cute and Girly

Second attempt! Somethings gone missing living up to it's name today! Weird things going on here in my blog! Posted my post and altho showing in blogger roll, it isn't showing up on my blog. Shhh! Baby Sleeping

 Morning, a baby boy card from me today. Not much doing on the card front this last week, been busy having a big tidy out, shifting things about and throwing out card scraps I persist in hoarding in boxes that never seem to see the light of day. Shifted most things about so where I find them when I come to have a play will be fun! Not.
Was asked to make a baby card, the image is one I won last week on Pink Gems, coloured with Promarkers and added a touch of Glamour Dust. Inked around him with TH distressing inks, Camera has shown the distressing deeper than it looks, much softer in reality.  Not sure where the plaid card came from! Used Martha Stewart border punch, white card embossed with embossing folder Snowflurry. Finished off with Martha Stewart border punch and ribbon. Wording on ribbon says Shhh baby sleeping, appropriate I thought! Buttons from stash.

Baby Fairy Flora

Morning , back again with another baby card. Using Mos Digital Pencil  "Baby Flora Fairy". (Ooo, I could just pick her up for a cuddle )I coloured her with Promarkers and added a dusting of Glamour Glitter. Used digital papers, haven't a clue where I got them from...they were lurking in a folder on my Lappy, don't think I have ever used them before like so many other digi sets I thought was a good buy at the time lol!

New Arrival!

Crafted all day yesterday, to pot with the housework...there's always next week. Life's to short and when I have a good spell with my health I'm going to party with my stash lol!! Had a baby Girl card to make for my Nephew and partner Vicki. Congrats to them both. Decided to have a change and pulled out my under used Cricut, dusted the poor thing down and loaded up the New Arrival cartridge. Aren't these Booties just
so sweet!

                                   

Used Nitwit papers, free ones... luverly. Matted and layered onto white card stock. Accessorized with Lace, punched flowers (tips cut with deckle edge scissors), ribbon and gems.

Isn't she adorable, love using her for a baby girl card.  Okay I've completely lost the plot!  Can't for the life of me remember what papers I used, can't find them anywhere! Was looking for challenges to enter and yes it came to me while browsing, Bearly Mine designs doh! No wonder I couldn't find them.  How much time do we waste looking for stash and how often is it we come upon something we completely forgot we had! Don't have that much do I? So much going on this weekend, I had forgot to post my makes. So yes, a bit late. Family once again descended upon us, and I had a wee trip to craft shop yesterday with craft friends. Wasn't in the shop 30 seconds and something jumped of the table into our baskets, no will power!
