WOYWW

Having an off day, wasn;t going to join in on the fun over at WOWY Julias Stamping ground but then why not I thought !Can always just have a snoop around some interesting desks, can be a real pick me up, inspiration, tips, storage ideas and so on, just good clean fun. Speaking of clean! Have inked up this insert for a card I'm just finishing off. Gosh just re-read, what on earth has clean got to do with inking! Think I was trying to say, far from clean, fingers an array of Rusty Hinge and Moss Green Tim Holtz inks. Used  Fiskars 2in1 Vine border punch. Bought it in October and never used it, tut tut Carol!! Now brain not towing the line this morning so couldn't get my head round how to use it, doh!! A little trip over to Youtube and everythings dandy now. Love how easy it was to use and the result! Gorgeous I think! Ooo wonder if there's more of them! A little trip round the internet I think, now what did I say about buying this year!!  Just have to matt and layer and place it in the card and then make the box.  Will post when I have it completed!

Speaking of buying! Bought these the other day.

Seen Jackie's gorgeous cards made with the Craft Concepts Sun Rays  embossing folder and WANTED it. Have a few ideas swimming about up there somewhere I want to try out! Okay couldn't just stop at that, liked the other two so in good old Carol fashion!  they just happened to drop in basket too. Bought off ebay and the service was fantastic. Ordered late morning and on my doorstep next morning, Wow!! Well that's enough blabbing for today and not to confusing! Have a lovely day and hope you  manage to fit in a bit of crafting fun !

the sunshine folder looks fab, remember to let us see what you make with it.

Lovely card, i really need to get to grips with distress inks. Might see if there is a stall at SECC next month which sells them and i can pick their brains about ways to use them.

Gorgeous card, if that's an off day then I'll be damned I can't do stuff like that on an on day!

Love your creation Carol. I have also got that folder but yet to use it. Saw a card done with it last week in another forum and was instantly drawn - had a bit of a rake around but finally got it. Arrived on Monday!

Looking forward to seeing the finished article Carol. Punch looks interesting and so do your new folders. And what a tidy desk. Mine is never tidy. Probably because I always have stuff sitting on it that I "might" use!

Well you're right - 'clean' doesn't come into it often for me - but clearly OK for you to use - just look at your work area - and the punched edge - marvellous!

Wonderful punch Carol, may just have to go and search that one out! Like the folders too and you don't often get service like that do you?
