Just Because

Love my daisies so teamed it up with Nitwit' daisy' papers. Gingham blues, butterflies and daisies, definitely a Spring, Summery card. 6x6 scalloped card matted and layered with Nitwit' daisy' papers printed on linen card. The 'smile' sentiment is part of the digital kit, butterfly die and Just Because are  Memorybox and the daisy is from Creative Expressions (I think).

Looks squint but I think, well I know it's my photography skills lol!

Happy crafting

Cards with Meaning!

My card today is especially for Brenda's challenge over at Floral Fantasies. What was I going to make! The first thing to enter my head was Poppies and Red but then again it could of been make a scene, oh she can do that big style lol! She makes gorgeous cards with dies and yummy ribbons and since I had just had a delivery of some new dies and silk ribbon I decided to have a play with them and also I seem to be short of time at the mo, not sure where it's going but it's flying I can tell you. I love my pretty card hope she does too.
This card has a bit of both of us  I think, we both love butterflies, handmade flowers, gorgeous ribbons and a pin. Very important i think when doing a card having a bit of the giver and sender, makes it special.

Used Cream Linen card,
added  hearts die, butterfly, flower spray and ribbon buckle, all from Memorybox.
The silk ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the Gingham from way back, cost 99p for a huge roll. Rolled flower, a cheerylyn
 and
 pearls from the hobby house.

Would also like to play along with the following challenges

More or Less the same!

Morning, my card today is for the Less is More challenge, again! After yesterdays blunder just had to try and redeem myself. Don't enter very often as I have said before, I do find them difficult too do and was feeling quite chuffed that |I had managed to come up with something for this weeks challenge but I couldn't even get it right could I! First I made a matted layered card and then I entered more challenges than I was allowed, oh dear! Well I received  many lovely comments on it along with Chrissy's one (thanks so much for that, hopefully catch up with you all as soon) so had to hopefully get it right this time. Was a bit stumped what I was going to create and it isn't for the lack of stash lol, I really liked my first card so went down the same road but just a wee bit different. Same stamps, Butterfly, inks but since it was a one layer added the punched border, orange ribbon and added a couple of punched flowers. Right going to read the post again to make sure, yes I have problems with following instructions, tend to see things that isn't there and not see things I should, tell myself it shan't happen again but there always seems to be a next time, so I do apologise. Must try harder to control myself lol.

Memorybox Butterfly coloured with TH distressing inks using my stipple brushes,
nothing very artistic, just a dust here, there and everywhere lol!

Here Comes Summer!

Another card on the clean and simple front once again. Well, for me they are. Had a few challenges in mind when making it, although that's unusual for me as I usually make the card, then find a challenge, anyway I wanted to enter this week over at Less is More  as my cards never seem to fit the bill there.  No sentiment added as I think it could be useful for a few occasions that's coming up soon, Mother's Day or an Easter Card maybe or even a get well card,  not sure yet. A useful card to have in the box then!

Memorybox die, coloured with Tim Holtz distressing inks

Hero Arts Stamps -  grasses, not sure what the flower cling stamp is,
 now there's a surprise!
Tim Holts inks
Ribbon - The Ribbon Girl
Memorybox - Large Butterfly
Punched Butterflies
Gems from stash
