Happy Birthday!

I just had to have this stamp from Penny Black, fell in love with it as soon as I seen it on Facebook. I have partially stamped it with Tim Holtz ink. I'm a blue person through and through, always has been my favourite colour. I especially love blue flowers which most of mine are in my garden. Added a couple of wee butterflies and pearls to finish off my centre piece.

As You Like It Challenge

A new challenge starting today
 over on
and this fortnight we would like to see your
Favourite Christmas style (Modern or Traditional)
 and
remember to say why in your link up.

I like both but going with modern as I thought this little Christmas tree looked great embossed in white against the black. My Christmas cards this year are very simple, always leave to late in year to get going on them, must try and do some every month next year. Think I say that every year lol!

We are sponsored by

My tree image is a freebie, PB set that came with a magazine. Embossed with detail white embossing powder onto black background. Matted and layered with a Spellbinder die set and finished off with a snowflake die cut, gems and sentiment.
Thats it from me, I hope you come and join us with a lovely creation.

Challenge #10 - Flowers or Trees over at As You Like It

Hello everyone. Haven't been a good blogger recently, have missed not visiting you all but hopefully I can get back to normal  and craft.  The craft room is more or less finished and while I was at it I decided to carry on and clear the clutter from about every room in the house. Nothing like striking the iron when it's hot and it was steaming lol!  A mamouth task and kept thinking to myself why on earth did I hang on to all the stuff and for so long! My boys always wanted to know why I kept it all. Hopefully get time to craft now and hopefully the aches and pains will settle down after the punishment I have given my body of late.

Okay I'm back with a card for
As You Like It Challenge

and
this fornight
we want to see you use
your
favourite flowers or trees
and
please remember to tell us why

We have a fab sponsor for you this next fortnight who has generously donated a $20 voucher

Right, first card made in my new craft room, oh boy was it strange getting used to where everything was and in no time had as big a mess as when I worked in a smaller space.  I decided on a Pennyblack flower stamp so love them, have many of them but so loved this one when I saw it. This one is called 'sweet pleasure'. Not sure what kind of flower it is but looks pretty good in any colour. Lives up to it's name I think.

By The Cute & Girly Chall;enge

Hello everyone,
well it's now countdown to Christmas and I'm not counting lol!
Will I ever get it right and be organised for Christmas
, not sure where I'm going wrong nowadays used to be on the ball.
O well will probably get there in the end.
Okay today sees a new challenge
 starting over on
and it is my turn to set the challenge and I have chosen a colour combo of
  Red, White and Blue.
One of my favourite colour combos for Christmas but you can use these colours to create whatever you like. I have used a Penny Black image, colours with Pro/Flexmarkers and a sprinkling of glamour dust.

Stopped for a natter!

Hello everyone,  inked up this cheeky wee chap for the pennyblack saturday challenge ages ago and just couldn't find time to get back to bring him to life until today. Kept it simple as should be getting the dinner organised! Wasn't sure what we were going to dine on to night but all sorted and in the oven as I type.

Summer Blues!

More like Summer Greys here, can't see more than a few metres from my craft room window today, the mist is right down around me.

Hello everyone, my card today have used the Penny Black stamp 'Whispers'. Have admired this stamp on many a blog and always been going to buy it and never seemed to happen, not sure why cause usually when I see something I really like I want it, like yesterday! Anyway I have it now and I love it. Paper-pieced the flowers to match the papers and added some small gems and glamour dust to the leaves.

Penny Black 'Whispers'

Papermania papers matted with cream card
Martha Stewart lace border punch
Nestie large Rectangle dies
Gems and Lace from stash

Pin made from pearls and metal pin flowers, a touch of Pinflair glue to keep it altogether

Swaying to the music!!

Morning from snowy Aberdeenshire.  A white out here late afternoon yesterday, Took this piccy late last night.when I should of been all tucked up cosy in my bed! Won't be venturing very far today so a fine excuse to craft

My card today I had a couple of challenges in mind. First on the list was to have another bash at Less is More, there's something about this challenge that always draws me to having a go now and then. Still to achieve getting it right....is this the week! I see I've squeezed in a punched daisy so maybe not lol.  I'm not a less is more kinda person but I love looking at those that do it so well.
My second challenge is the Saturday Pennyblack challenge.which is a Sing-a-long week. Haven't used a music style image, instead I was  inspired by Dolly Pardon's Wildflowers song and inked up  Daisy Fields.

Hero Arts Graph background inked with TH Shabby Shutters then embossed with clear powder. Stamped PB Daisy Fields with TH Victorian Velvet and Peeled Paint. Sentiment Hero Arts - thoughtful messages and finished with punched daisy inked with TH Tattered Rose.
