As You Like It Challenge

Time for a new challenge over at

As You Like It Challenge

This fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using
an Inspirational Object (& why).
Instead of explaining why it's your favourite like we usually ask, in order to qualify for the prize, please include a photo of your inspirational object so that we can see what's inspired you.

Lay in my bed thinking about this one! What was I going to make. Mmmmn, well I love blue and white china and love candles so this is what I came up with.

Had bought this that very day and thought I could make a candle holder so it would reflect the light the same as this one, not that the camera showed up the reflection. Thanks for that!

Have had a passion for blue and white china for years. Most of this is Burleigh Calico, one of my favourites.

The papers are Docrafts Parisienne Blue, so loving these, yep, third creation of late. Used a Spellbinder large circle for the base then layered with a Dienamics I think! The Butterflies are Memorybox.

Recycled a small glass tumbler, wrapped round a Spellbinder die cut, glued edge of papers and finished with a ribbon round the bottom. I then added frosted stickles round lip of glass.

All lit up!

Wow what a beautiful light. You should market them, much prettier than the usual candle holders you can buy!

Just stunning Carol, love it.

I'm a bit late commenting here. I was all set the other day when my broadband connection very helpfully disappeared. Sometimes it comes back in no time and sometimes I give up and switch off. Hubby is working at Craigellachie, about an hour and a half from us, so really late with tea every night. As you can imagine if broadband plays up I don't have much patience just now!

Take care,

Kat xx
