Happy Christmas To You All

Just popping on to share my latest antics!  Have had a little hiccup this past few weeks! Ended up in hospital in a lot of pain Have gallstones and they have to come out so a trip back in after the festive seasons by.  Had an infection in my Gallbladder too and my pancrease was inflamed. My skin had taken on a slight yellow look , didn't look very pretty I can tell you. Home and taking things easy. I'm keeping my fingers crossed I'm going to feel much better after my op as I haven't had a very good year!Going to be a slimming kinda time for me as I can't eat very much, groan, all that roasters, mealie,Christmas pudding not on my plate if I want a pain free day. Thank god I'm not doing the cooking, all that temptation in front of me, will b bad enough having to watch everybody tuck in at the table! . Mmmmn, wonder if alcohol escapes the ban lol! It could dull the pain if nothing else lol!!
In amongst that little hiccup I had the most amazing surprise! My son appeared home from Australia unannounced to spend Christmas with us. I couldn't of asked for a better present could I. I hadn't seen him for eighteen months, was so good to see him. He walked into the hospital ward and left me speechless. I had just received a text from him asking which ward I was in and if I had a phone number he could ring to speak to me, never thinking he was trying to find which ward I was in and was only minutes away from me! No one knew he was coming home so was a surprise for everyone.
I haven't managed to send any cards this year and if I wanted to see the next year in with hubby, just couldn't go down the road of him doing them!!
I hope you are all well and wish you a lovely Christmas. Hope you find some crafty goodies in your stocking, I know I will have one to open cause I bought the stash myself and my son wrapped it and put it under the tree.  Will have forgot ton what I bought by Christmas Day . Well! No one else would dream of buying me any. Mmmmmn, wonder why!!

Bye for now

Hi Carol, I haven't left a comment for ages but I do pop on to see what you are up to. I'm glad they have finally got to the bottom of all your pain, I bet there was lots of it too. Life can be awful at times and then there's a pleasant surprise and boy did you get one, you must have shed lots of tears when you saw your son walk into your ward. I hope you don't have to wait long for your OP then you can sit down and enjoy a lovely meal. I wish you a pain free Christmas and healthy pain free2014...Trish
