You Brighten My Day!

Hello everyone, today my card was made with a few challenges in mind but first and foremost it's my card for the new challenge starting over at As You Like It.

This fortnight the challenge
is
use your favourite sentiment
and tell us why in your link up please.
We are sponsored by

My card I used a Hero Arts sentiment You Brighten  My Day. I'm not a showy feely person outwith my family but love these kinda sentiments for my grandkids and not just for a special occasion either, just because! Looks great stamped right onto the card or in a fancy frame. This time it fits snugly in the bottom of my card perfectly. The colours are for the Ribbon Girl challenge, made a peachy card once before and wasn't too pleased with it but this time I think I got it just right, love it and the dies and punch elements are for An Oldie but a Goodie challenge and Anything Goes challenge is in the garden with some butterflies.. The flowers and butterflies are punched and just love this cute wee brolly bought from The Stamp Basket, embossed with a hearts embossing folder. The corner die is a cheery lyn,no name on the embossing folder I'm afraid, that's for the Promarker challenge and the lace circle die is a Marianne. Oops, nearly forgot about my image. Such a darling, used it many times, coloured with Promarkers and a touch of sparkle.

This is a piccy I took the other day, wasn't sure if I had seen one before or not! My builder friend told me it was a Peacock Butterfly. Just so beautiful.

That's it from me today, I do hope you will come and join us over at As You Like It this fortnight Before i go, a piccy of the craft desk. One card, One mess!!
