Fashionista May Challenge

Hello everyone,
a warm welcome to my blog today.
It's the start of a new challenge over at
and this month we would like to see you create something
 Vintage/shabby
or both
Our sponsor this month

make a gif

A last minute idea, a wall hanging for mySunroom seems to be to many of them just lately,  will be framing it but need to decorate the frame so hopefully when I get round to it I will let you see the finished article. The image was one I won the other week. It is from Delicious Doodles which I printed off on patterned paper from My Mind's Eye 'Rosy', layered up the flower and Butterfly and distressed the edges with TH Vintage Photo and embossed with  Frantage Bronzed enamel. The outer backing I stamped and embossed using the Frantage too, to hopefully give it an aged look. Added bronze metal corners and roughed up the edges with my TH edger.

Your wall hanging is lovely Carol and I picked up a few tips reading through your post. Have never thought of printing off images on to patterned paper. Thanks for that one. All your techniques have worked well together to create this lovely piece. Well worth the effort.
