Cards with Meaning!

My card today is especially for Brenda's challenge over at Floral Fantasies. What was I going to make! The first thing to enter my head was Poppies and Red but then again it could of been make a scene, oh she can do that big style lol! She makes gorgeous cards with dies and yummy ribbons and since I had just had a delivery of some new dies and silk ribbon I decided to have a play with them and also I seem to be short of time at the mo, not sure where it's going but it's flying I can tell you. I love my pretty card hope she does too.
This card has a bit of both of us  I think, we both love butterflies, handmade flowers, gorgeous ribbons and a pin. Very important i think when doing a card having a bit of the giver and sender, makes it special.

Used Cream Linen card,
added  hearts die, butterfly, flower spray and ribbon buckle, all from Memorybox.
The silk ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the Gingham from way back, cost 99p for a huge roll. Rolled flower, a cheerylyn
 and
 pearls from the hobby house.

Would also like to play along with the following challenges

Oh I do indeed love it Carol !

The soft blue looks so pretty with the off white and your new dies look yummy and that crushed silk ribbon is a firm favourite of mine and then there's the butterfly - yep I like.

Much as I enjoy all think inky, I am getting quite a liking for playing with dies and just succumbed to the new Grand oval spellbinders.

Thanks so much for making such a special card and joining in my blog celebration and also for your kind words which are much appreciated.

This card is showcasing your new dies perfectly Carol. I'm particularly liking that hearts one. It's great for a background embellishment like you've used it here. Love the colour scheme too. Hope you're keeping warm today.
