Autumn Birthday

Craft desk all tidied up , made a card and in one almighty mess once again, never mind, like what I have made.....just hope my Mum thinks so too! Since Mr Mojo isn't altogether playing along with me at the mo, had a couple of blips with the background, infact third time lucky and not too happy with the photo, has made the center background lighter than it is! Okay, enough moans off to clear everything away just incase little fingers find there way into my stash when I am away having fun tomorrow with Kath Debbi and Anne at the Papeterie .

Somethings Gone Missing!

Morning to you all, something has definitely gone missing! Mr Mojo has cleared out and left me high and dry.... have created such a mess round me trying to be creative but just got messier and messier.Think I'll have to tidy up and hopefully he appears out from under all the mess. Made this attempt last night, back to basics to try and kickstart things back into gear. If all fails, will just have to hope Girls Just Want To Have Fun day on Saturday gets the juices flowing again.

I Love my Car!

Morning, hope you all had a lovely weekend. I haven't much to show at the mo, busy getting my DT creations made....exciting times over on BTC&G this next month so hope you will pop along and join in the fun!

My card is for a girly girl who has  just passed her driving test, so went for the pink look. spent ages looking for a on line digi and finally gave up all google eyed and ended up googling for an image. Ended up with a colouring page image. Maybe not suitable for entering challenges, don't know the protocal on that one but like the finished result.

Willowsketchiechallenge

I'm late posting tonight, first card in a few days from me.....been under the weather this week, not really sure what I had but kept me away from the computer and making cards, nothing for it but to stay put in bed till it past. Nobody about tonight so made a simple card to get back into the swing o things. Have followed the sketch over on Willowsketchiechallenge blog. There is one fab prize this week up for grabs for one lucky winner so this is my effort! Used Kaisercraft papers, Inkadinkado Santa, okay not much colouring with this one but worked well with what I wanted to achieve, Inked edges with TH Vintage photo ink and ruffed up the edges and a tear here and there

And this is what you can win,

Rossette Snowflakes!

Morning folks. Sunday's turning out to be a quiet day here, grandkids have gone home early because poor Mum has succumbed to their sicky bug. Nothing like your own home when your feeling poorly. Hope Kelly's better soon.
Really enjoyed making these cards which I have posted seperately!. Less is more for me but  do they fit the Less is More challenge! Not sure on that one but hopefully they do.

Had a play on Friday making Rossettes with a Fiskars 12x12 sheet of patterned strips. This one I border punched the one edge, then added a Snowflake  and brad to center. The shaped die cut, flourish and snowflakes all Marianne dies.

Have a lovely day

Is there Anyone at Home!

Afternoon folks, went off on a crafty shop yesterday afternoon with my crafty friend Lily to Insch to Lainesworld to see Elaine.  Always makes you so welcome. A lovely time we had, some crafty stash, coffee, choccy biscuits and lots of laughs.
Okay!
A bit more than a less is more card with the added flowers but still a clean card from me! Was really just playing about with my Fiskars anywhere on the page punch. I then had to find something to put behind it. This little cutie was a freebie in a magazine. Funny it didn't have a home to go to but a few days later my son asked if I had a card for him. As long as it's not for one of your male friends! A bit too girlie I was thinking but the friend had a partner so all was rosy!

Let's Pretend!

Morning folks my it was windy here yesterday, washing was coming along nicely and then the rain joined in! Got soaked rescueing it, never mind least I didn't chance it and leave it out thinking it won't come to much.
A card for a 50th youthful looking lady who loves black and red . Used Craftwork papers , a Marianne Designs stamp, now which one! Have such a muddle on my desk I have no idea where the packaging has landed. Will definitely have to clear my feet before I make any more cards. Well I'll have to! Have about a 6x6 square space left to work on lol. I made the flowers, using bazzil card stock punched, sprayed with water, crunched up, seperated and layered. Added Stickles Lace to edges. Kinda love the results!

By The Cute & Girly DT Card

My second DT card for By The Cute & Girly. Half way through the month still plenty time to play along with our theme All Things Bright And Beautiful. My card was snapped up by my youngest son for his girlfriend. Mum doesn't have save them money in that department, pity couldn't keep him on the staight and narrow with the rest of his spending. Wonder where he gets that from!

Delicious!

Morning to you all,  I think it could be a crafty day here  lol! A bit weary after my weekend so a bit slow off the mark at the mo. My card today is using Pennyblack stamp Sweet Thing, coloured with Promarkers and sprinkles of Glamour Dust. The papers are frome Dovecraft Tea Party.

The card is going to my daughter-in-law Kelly. Just to remind her, the sooner she creates her career in cake design the better. Being her guinnea pigs is not doing our waist lines any good and my excuse! I hate waste lol!

Rockin Robin!

Afternoon, hope your having a leisurely  Sunday! Pretty quiet here at the mo so decided to have a little play after browsing some blogs, noticed the sketch over on Moving Along With The Times and this is what I came up with. A real quick Christmas card. Need to tidy up the mess I've now created, probably take longer than the card took lol!

Knitted with Love!

Friday's come around so fast once again. Have tidied my craft area in the Sunroom up for the weekend. There'll be no time to craft, been on a roll these past few weeks and loved every moment of it.  Family all home and silaging this weekend so will be kept busy in the Kitchen cooking. Grandkids will be here too, I bought them a game to play with, well really I want to play it! Mr Potato Head so looking forward to that lol. I'm sure they will keep me right!
My card is an 8x8. Ruffed up the edges on all the squares to make a shabby chic patchwork backing.

Jolly Good Time!

Evening to you all, hope you've had a good day. My card I followed the theme 'make a scene' on the pennyblacksaturday challenge. No background stamps suitable so made it using embossing folders. Used 'Jolly Good Times' stamps and coloured with promarkers. Added some Glamour Dust for sparkle.

Playing with Paper!

Evening everyone. Have made two cards, similar designs but using different papers.

Used Cosmo Cricket Papers Mitten Weather and Marianne Poinsettia Die

Used free paper pad, colours not exactly true to colour in photo, makes the ribbon look totally wrong! Emnbossed the topper with holly embossing folder. Because the paper was quite thin I placed it inbetween a piece of paper so the embossed leaves did not crack. Works a treat! Sprayed Red backing paper with Gold spray and also the poinsetia

Less is More!

Evening, hope you've all had a good weekend. Back again with a card this time.  I've had a quiet day  and decided to have a go at another Less is More card. Something Metallic this week. Well I hunted high and low, looking for some sheets of copper I bought a couple of years ago and for the life of me couldn't remember where I had stashed it away. So had to shelf that whim and had a rake amongst my embossing powders. Okay, my Hero Arts flower spray (mislaid the packaging) is embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Ancient Copper Metallic, matted and layered with Copper card. Used a Martha Steward around the page punch.
