Girls Just Want To Have Fun Class

What better way to get back into the swing of things than a crafty day with Kath, Debby and Anne. Haven't crafted for nearly a month and was getting really worried I had lost the notion altogether, all that stash lying about and didn't have any inclination to play and can you believe it, no crafty spending either!!!! Wedding looming  fast, think it was the invites that scunnered me although I did look at them when I finally got them all finished and thought it was a great achievement . Put my name down for class as I knew it would be a great day out and phew it did wonders. Learned some new techniques, made lovely creations, a wee spend in the shop and to finish of , treated to a Fish Supper by our chauffer Alan, Lily's hubby.

A plaque made at Kath's table, isn't it gorgeous. Know exactly where it's going. New Kitchen just about finished, will look fab on the wall above the breakfast bar.

Pen holder and Notebook at Debbi's table. Ideal holder for when using my Promarkers so bought a few more to decorate, now will they! I can see me using them and not a paper or design on them!! Thanks for the idea Debby.

My fab creation at Anne's table. Never stenciled before but something I will definitely try again, was great fun  and so easy when you know how.

Now,  if the phone would stop ringing, a quick tidy round, hopefully I will get some peace to get playing. Just need hubby to appear in and upset my plans.

P.S. Thanks Kath, Debby and Anne for a super day, shattered but was worth it.

BY THE CUTE AND GIRLY MAY CHALLENGE Reminder

Gosh May is flying by and we've had a tremendous response this month with our Anything Goes challenge, just about fell off my seat when I saw how many entries there was in the first week. Finally found some time to comment and Mr Blogger had other ideas, great! Never mind caught up on some yesterday, so many talented folks out there, the time just flew buy looking at them.  Life and blogging  for me at the mo is a bit upsy down! So much going on and taking it's toll on my health but hopefully things are going to settle down soon and I can get crafting again. To top it all have been rather greedy and helped myself to the cold and my hips are playing up again so off to visit the Osteopath tomorrow to hopefully put things right and going to have a bit of Acupuncture to give me a boost, works wonders on the cloudy head I seem to get!!! So beware lol!!
My second sample creation for this months challenge is my Son's Wedding Invitation. Made fifty one of them and forty simpler versions for the evening, kinda scunnered myself on the card making front after that, more cards than I have ever done throughout a whole year.  Was going to have them all done and dusted way back but just didn't happen. I hope you like my design, have had some lovely feedback since they have gone out, makes it all so worth while and Kelly loved them which is the most important thing. Don't want to see another duplicate card for awhile!
Hope I can catch up with you all very soon, missing you all.x

Anything Goes this month over on By The Cute & Girly so a great one for doing what you like best! I'm afraid blogging and card making is very much taking a back seat at the mo but hopefully once I get on top of my Wedding stationery and a new Kitchen going in will be able to join in the fun again. Hope your all having great weather and enjoying the May weekend.
