Whats On My Workdesk Wednesday! 95
Nothing exciting I'm afraid. Had a big tidy up amoungst my cards and they are being enveloped and cellod ready to be sold this Friday at a fund raiser for Cancer. Some go back a couple of years and made me cringe looking at them! How are styles change over time, for the better I'm thinking! Just need to finish a few off with sentiments and get them boxed up. So that means I've some spare room in my craft cupboard! Mmmnnnnn, I wonder!!! Hope your joining in over at Julia's Stamping Ground, What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday,
see you around.

Happy Birthday!
Morning, a bit rough round the edges this morning! Up till one in the morn making this card for a friend. Talk about leaving things till the last minute eh. Her birthday today and had slipped my mind and a busy weekend kept me from getting round to making it. All set to get going on Sunday and visitors my brother and family appeared and he fell asleep not long after they had arrived, what are men like! Never mind got started about eight pm and cracked on till I finished it. So speak about being slow this morning is an understatement. Nothing done so better get going!

Daisy Fields
Morning folks, a real happy bunny today! Kitchen arrived yesterday all the way from just outside Birmingham. Bought it online, already had some of the units which we bought at a liquidation sale and couldn't get the rest of it up here. Was a bit apprehensive about doing it but went like a dream. Only took three weeks to come. Hope tradesmen don't keep me waiting to long, can't wait for it to be fitted. Not very good at waiting. Clocks gone forward, so it's Spring Time so looking forward to the lighter nights, hopefully some Sunshine and the garden coming to life, weeds and all. My card today has been lurking in a folder for ages, just never got round to posting it. Wasn't sure about making a card with yellows but think it looks okay and hopefully looks Springlike! Must have a play again with my inks, haven't created anything like this for ages but then again Wedding Invites are lying in the front room waiting to be finished.

Bunny Love!
An afternoon with friends and this is what I created. Well not quite. Had a change of heart once I got home with the image, just didn't seem right with the choice of papers so used this one instead. Loving working with Promarkers but so far to go, wonder if I'll ever create a masterpiece!
An LOTV I bought at NEC show in Glasgow and this is the first time used and it's so cute too! Tut tut Carol, how many more are lurking in my drawers unloved, gosh shocking admission but I'm sure many more like me!

Something I like a lot!
Just sharing some photos of my walk along Cullen beach on Wednesday night with Hubby. A rare occurence as he is always to busy for some leisure time, but we all need it to unwind, saying that I've never seen him walk so damn fast there and back, had a job keeping up! Gosh he dawdles if we go for a walk at home, to busy looking around farm land and what to be done! Was starting to get a bit dark but was a lovely evening and find the sea so relaxing, love watching the waves and waiting for the big one not that they were very big that night. And of course the icing on the cake was the fish supper and icecream,(told that you yesterday but I'm good at repeating myself! Well so I'm told) yummieeeeee!

Ah and who is this!!!
My dear long suffering hubby of mine! He loves it really!!
Now man, you can't say I haven't let you into my blog for a peek, only once mind you ha ha!!x
Have a lovely weekend. I will. Have family and am really excited! My new kitchen is being delivered tomorrow.Gosh I hope it turns up, coming all the way from England. The driver ain't going to like our farm track, so not telling him, naughty naughty. Roll on some organised chaos!

Just for You
Slow to get going this morning but then that's not unusually these days. Think my walk along the beach last night with Hubby tired me out. It's about a mile along and back, quite a feat for me nowadays. Love the sea, find it so relaxing. Took my camera along but no big waves last night and it was getting a touch dark and me being a very amatuer photographer, piccies not that exciting. Have a few so going to post seperately but here's one to be going on with.
Had as fish supper and finished it off with an icecream, ooo not forgetting the noughet waver on top, don't do things by halves! And me on a diet, there goes this weeks lb loss!
My card today is really all about getting to grips with my Promarkers, learning from my mistakes and just having fun. What a fun way to live eh!! My boys ask what I have been up to today and I always tell them, I've been colouring in. They always laugh, sounds a bit like when you asked them what they had done at playschool and I think they think that too! Such a great life but back to reality, must go and have a tidy round and then off to have a play and a good old gossip at a friends house for the afternoon. Have a great day too.

Whats On My Workdesk Wednesday! 94
Haven't joined in these past few weeks, been so busy with Wedding invites for my son and Kelly and family affairs, knew I would be distracted visiting other desks and wouldn't have time to leave comments. Can loose a few hours no problem once you start so had to be strict with myself for once. Something I'm not very good at as one blog leads to another and so it goes on! On my desk today well it's been on there a couple of days waiting patiently to be coloured in. One of Funky kits adorable digi images. Had her for a good few weeks and kept forgeting she was hiding away in the computer so finally and hopefully she will land on these yummy papers. Saying that, bought these papers yesterday while I was at Papercrafts in Elgin,Ooo so hard to choose, Ready for this! Only went in for embossing powder and came out with a bag of goodies minus the powder, didn't have the one I wanted.. Folks that know me, new that was coming, an I right! Hubby said you could of phoned first, WHY!! Don't think I need answer that one! . Have chosen the colours to colour her in using my ever increasing amount of Promarkers. Now I said I wasn't going to go down that road. Never say never Carol, just could not resist having a bash with them and I must say liking it, altho a long way from a masterpiece yet.
Will have to do another one as colour has run over some of the edges, must be more careful or am I to heavy handed! Hopefully Debbi the Promarker Queen is going to sort that out, she's in for a tough time when she comes visiting.
Not very tidy as usual but then I think it looks so bare when you clear up the mess! Don't think that excuse works with housework does it lol!!!
Hope you find time to join in the fun over at Julia's Stampin Ground, a fab idea created for us all to have a nosey at each others workspace and if your lucky, some ideas along the way. Happy Wednesday.

Kiss from a Rose!
Last of my sample creations for Simply Create this month. Think this is my favourite. Love the vintage feel to it and think it looks great against the dark blue. Mmnn, just had a thought, could mount the tag onto dark blue and turn it into a card. or maybe not!! Made the roses by stamping out the images from the Hero Arts Dots & Flowers set using white card stock.Cut out, seperated off one layer and using the hairy side( shame, not visible from the photo but very effective) inked with TH Faded Jeans. Rolled the petals in, glued alltogether and shaped. Dusted with Glamour Dust and finished off with a pearl to the centre. The tag is from Marrianne Creatables, again white Linen card stock, stamped with the Dots & Flowers and HA Grid stamp and embossed with clear embossing powder. Inked edges with one of the browns from TH, can't remember which one now. Leaves cut from stamps set and same technique applied as roses. Sentiment from TH 'Live Life'.

Simply Create Card Day 2
Afternoon everyone, hope it's a lovely day where you are. It's absolutely lovely here saying that I started my post about two hours ago and took off to see a friend and now it's gone dull and breezy. Nevermind looks like tomorrows going to be even bettergoing by the forecast, great, makes you feel so much better I think! Went to Forres yesterday with Kelly, she was needing cake making stuff from Bakery there and what did I do!! Was only looking you understand but came out of shop with my outfit for the Wedding. Early days yet but find shopping for clothes such hard work and wasn't looking forward to seeing all this over the top Mother of the Bride/Groom outfits. Not me Very CHIC me thinks, nothing loud! Was not the colour I was going for atall but goes with my HAIR!!!! Finally given the dye bottle the heave and going white gracefully.... Hat an all, never worn a hat in my life apart from a toorie round the farm but really liked it and if I say so myself was looking good! Well someone has to!!!! Gosh, the hat cost an arm and a leg. But the outfit wouldn't of been right without it so it had to be!
My card today is my second creation for Simply Create Alford.again using the Hero Arts 'Dots & Flowers'. This time I used linen card, inked edges with Tim Holtz Antique Linen, layered with embossed stitch Cuttlebug folder. Stamped card with Antique Linen and embossed with clear embossing powder and inked over with the Antique Linen. Did the same for the flower, cut out and fixed with pads. A clean card for me, something I don't do often but I like!

Penny Black Hedgehog Joy
Should really of been doing some of my Wedding invites but this cutie caught my eye when I was rumouging for something else and really wasn't in the mood for matting and layering up cards. So spent the other evening puting this together instead. In the early stages of working with Promarkers so much to learn and really need more colours to work with, a little trip onto Angel Crafts I think is in order to give me a helping hand.

BTC&G March Challenge
My card today is a little reminder of our Springtime theme over on By The Cute & Girly Challenge this month. A very simple one and as yet no sentiment, it's waiting for the right person and occasion! And for once it's not square! Used Cuttlebug folder Sunrays, Martha Stewart flower border, Sizzix Swirls and flower punches. The papers are Nanas baby girl, I think the're very versatile as most of the papers can be used for other occasions.

Note Book Kath Style!
Well I'm finally making an appearance on here! Been more than a week since I blogged so much going on and doesn't look much better this week. How life seems to be whizzing by and not always a lot to show for it. Was busy making Wedding cards last week, all the cutting, scoring, taping and embossing done and dusted, just have them all to put together. Want to get this done this week if possible then just have the evening invites and all the other little bits and pieces to get made but not the same rush for them but don't want to leave it to the last minute, know what happens if I do that! Something always goes wrong in my book!!! Did have some time to myself on Saturday. Headed to Simply Create with my crafting friends for a fun afternoon with Kath. Had a great time apart from the weather being most inconsiderate, snowed all day and by the time we came back down the road, had to go at snail pace to keep my load safe! Well had to watch the crafty stash didn't end up all over the car floor! Really I was thinking of my friends, hope they were'nt to stressed by the time I dropped them off!
Back tomorrow with a little reminder!

50th Birthday & New Challenge over on Simply Create
A little break from making Wedding invites, a man 50th Birday card using Dis Digi Images, bought it a while back thinking it would come in handy sometime. Tried to colour it with Promarkers but the printer ink (even sprayed with hairspray) kept bleeding so had to go back to my Prisma pencils. Is there a way round this, would love you to tell me. Shame as I am really enjoying the Promarkers!
