You're the one!

Well, January's been a slow start to making cards, one a week, at this rate will be doing the night shift just to get peace to enjoy my favourite passtime. So much going on,  finding the time to craft has been well down the list and when I have time on my hands no energy left to find inspiration, give me strength!! Hasn't stopped me craft shopping tho, a bit of a shop-a-holic (oooo did I just say that?) . Off to one of my favourite craft shops tomorrow, haven't been out this year ( just stood on the doorstep and greeted Steve the postie with my parcels).
Right, back to my card, another page for my gorgeous granddaughter Naomi's scrapbook, love this Sarah Kay image, turn the page and her daddy and mummy will be smiling back.

PINK PINK AND MORE PINK! Jacqui's Blog Candy

Over on SIMPLY CREATE , Jacqui has set quite a challenge, PINK, nothing else.We also have to donate our card to CLAN. Local Cancer Charity in  N.E. Scotland. Post it to Jacqui, why would I do such a thing  when a trip to the craft shop is by far a better idea!!! Mind you not that I need anything! Mystery box of serious craft stash to be had for one lucky crafter.
Well with all those lovely papers stashed in every nook and cranny I began my search, do you think I could find any just PINK? NO SUCH LUCK. I couldn't believe it so back to the crafting board and my dizzy head. Through the fog I decided on using my tools for a change.

SHARING IS FUN

Especially craft shopping!
Hi to you all, hope your having a lovely weekend. The snow is fairly melting at long last, a fair mess everywhere and our road which is 3/4 mile long is covered in ice so a bit slippery is an understatement. But then I'm not going anywhere, staying put and crafting..

Over at Crafty Catz, Suzie has set our challenge for a Happy Birthday theme
Used
Clare Curd - The Big One
http://www.heather-ellis.co.uk/page5.htm - Mouse in the house collection - adorable don't you think?
Sukura pens - been collection dust lately
Embellishments from stash, they to hadn't seen daylight for a long time.
Martha Stewart punch and Nesties, where would we be without them!

Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr Hope it's cosy inside!!!!!

Well, it's not so cold up here today, but still a lot of snow to shift. Hopefully will have all gone by the end of the weekend.Planning a craft shop outing with friends. Haven't asked them all yet but I'm sure they won't refuse such an offer!!!!! Do I need anything? Not really but I daresay things will fly into my basket just the same. Always something to tempt us and I don't need a lot of tempting I can tell you. No willpower girl!!

Right, the card is a late Welcome to your new home. They know what I'm like, wonder they didn't send me a reminder. Since it's winter and having had all this snow decided on the wintry theme.
Glad I decided not to hide away my Christmassy stash as i did last year. Hope to make some cards throughout the year and for once be so organized! Me organized! Well there's always a first time.
Happy crafting

Welcome Little One

Have a stinker of a cold so not feeling too hot at the moment but thought entering a couple of challenges might perk me up.
Crafty Catz - bright and cheerful, nothing like a new baby to cheer us up, as long as you can hand it back! Used glitter card for sparkle and the little chap is designed by Nellie Snedden. A real cutie!
Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge - New is the order of the day so my card fits nicely into that bracket too.
Would love to chill out now but dinner needs cooking and there's only me here to do it, shame that!

Beary Special you are

The image and papers from Bearneccesities, Nitwits collection.
Sanded edges with a magical tool ( well I think so), can't remember who makes it. Though it was a bit pricey at the time but I would not want to be without it now. So easy to use and give lovely results. Have added a pic to let you see what I'm nattering on about. Mounded it all on to Easel card, think this shape makes lovely calenders and hopefully my son is going to put it on his desk at work as a reminder how well he is doing. Yes he's giving mum full support with stopping smoking himself.Good for him and thanks Rhys.
Well this is my first card of the year but before I hopefully make many more I really need to tidy my craft desk. I'm such a messy crafter and haven't as yet tidied all my Christmas stash up. Not going to hide it away this year as I want to make an occasional card so I don't end up running out of time and using bought ones, did I say I used bought ones? oh dear! can't let that happen again.
Hope you are having a lovely day and find some time to craft ( good for the soul)
regards

Snow, I love it!

A bit slow of the mark but I'm here so wishing you all firstly a Happy Healthy Crafting Year. Secondly, New year resolutions, never been into that but this year have two. Really want to succeed with the first resolution, stopping smoking. Have stopped, into forth day now and not doing bad. Thinking what I will do with all the extra lolly, a cleaner springs to mind, then I could use my energy on my crafting. Sounds so much more fun do you think? Second resolution not to spend so much on crafts, think I'm wasting my time with this one do you think? Just love craft shopping, a day out with friends, a coffee (think I will have to miss the fancy cakes from now on)and a chat and then home to oogle over my buys. Not in front of the hubby though, although who am I kidding, he's no fool but he is glad that I get so much enjoyment from making cards (bless him). This year I think I'm going to have a go at scrap booking, have oodles of 12x12 papers and a couple of scrapbooks so what I'm I waiting for? Inspiration maybe! Where does it go, find blog hopping gets the juices going sometimes but time flies by on here and then no time left to craft and then there's the online craft shops, well I have been known to browse!!! Since been stuck in with this snow ( we have some amount, 3 to 4feet)been checking out digi stamps, really handy, they just fly into your email box ready to use and they are all cosy in their folder on my Laptop ready to print and come alive. Hope you are all managing to get out and about and watch those slippy pavements. Speak again soon
