Springlike!

Late Afternoon folks, gosh where the times gone I don't know. Tootered all afternoon, well apart from a walk with the dogs. Such a super day been here. Been playing with scraps and since it's been such a fine day, my cards I think reflect so.....well one card, the other will keep for another day.
Very simple ones using my punches, dies and embossing folders and of course all the scraps that keep building up as I hate throwing even the smallest bit out, even if it just makes a small flower lol, crazy but just might come in handy someday!

Craft Concepts - Sun Rays, Cuttlebug - flowers, Memory Box Leaf Corner, Punched Daisies

Made a double bow, added gems from stash and used Martha Stewart border punch. Oh and main card edge cut with Tim Holtz on the edge die.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Umbrella Bunny

Afternoon folks, my card today started on Sunday, was really windy here and while I was rummaging  came across this little LOTV cutie, a freebie from this months Papercraft Inspirations Magazine and thought it was perfect to have a play with on such a day.

Coloured with Promarkers
The Daisies I have had lying in a box for a couple of years so can't remember where they came from but could be made with punches and a Candi. dot.

Spread Sunshine

A warm welcome folks, back for another go at the Less is More challenge and this week it's use your scraps up.

The Hero Arts circle was intended for another card a few weeks back but just didn't work with what I was trying to achieve at the time so ended up in my shapes drawer, the small daisies and scrap of burnt orange bazzill card came from the same project.

A bit disappointed with the sharpness, or the lack of it, of my sentiment. Saying that doesn't look so bad in the flesh.

Be Happy!

Morning everyone, first  I was so pleased yesterday, my Here Comes Summer card, the not quite Less is More card won two top threes, WOW, so chuffed so thanks to Divas by Design and CRAFT challenge blog, thanks girls.
Okay back to pretty papers and sweet images today. Tidied my desk up late last night all ready to have a play today and you would never know, once again absolutely cluttered from end to end.  A new Sugar Nellie stamp called Hazel, coloured with Promarkers and Fleximarkers. Surrounded her with Glamour Dust and cream chalk ink.

K & Co Raspberry Road  8x8 paper pad

Matted and layered with Kraft card. The Kraft card was an optional choice so went for it. Punched flowers and leaves, glamour Dust and Lace to finish.

Congrats

Evening folks, been a lovely day here today, so Spring like. Long may it continuer i say.
My kinda clean and simple from me again. I'm sure some of you would have it done and dusted in five mins but I took half the afternoon lol. Some day I might just get a less is more card perfected but I'm not holding my breath....just want to keep adding stash. We all have our styles so I'm thinking they're not mine, saying that i love looking at the.

My design started off simple enough but then I wanted to emboss the backgrounds and then I though mmmn....a flourish on the corner and had to add the wee punched flowers.

Cuttlebug greeting, Sizzix Flourish punched flowers and Embossing folders

Gawd, how annoying, now I see the die cuts are not placed exact, how is it, it looked fine when I was assembling it...looks even worse on the photo than on the real thing. The joys!
You would think these kinda cards would cause less mess on the craft desk but I haver created havoc so it's an evening of tidying before i make anything else,
bye for now

More or Less the same!

Morning, my card today is for the Less is More challenge, again! After yesterdays blunder just had to try and redeem myself. Don't enter very often as I have said before, I do find them difficult too do and was feeling quite chuffed that |I had managed to come up with something for this weeks challenge but I couldn't even get it right could I! First I made a matted layered card and then I entered more challenges than I was allowed, oh dear! Well I received  many lovely comments on it along with Chrissy's one (thanks so much for that, hopefully catch up with you all as soon) so had to hopefully get it right this time. Was a bit stumped what I was going to create and it isn't for the lack of stash lol, I really liked my first card so went down the same road but just a wee bit different. Same stamps, Butterfly, inks but since it was a one layer added the punched border, orange ribbon and added a couple of punched flowers. Right going to read the post again to make sure, yes I have problems with following instructions, tend to see things that isn't there and not see things I should, tell myself it shan't happen again but there always seems to be a next time, so I do apologise. Must try harder to control myself lol.

Memorybox Butterfly coloured with TH distressing inks using my stipple brushes,
nothing very artistic, just a dust here, there and everywhere lol!

Here Comes Summer!

Another card on the clean and simple front once again. Well, for me they are. Had a few challenges in mind when making it, although that's unusual for me as I usually make the card, then find a challenge, anyway I wanted to enter this week over at Less is More  as my cards never seem to fit the bill there.  No sentiment added as I think it could be useful for a few occasions that's coming up soon, Mother's Day or an Easter Card maybe or even a get well card,  not sure yet. A useful card to have in the box then!

Clean & Simple

Seen these stamps (comes as a set of two flower images) and really liked them so they dropped into my basket. Decided to have a play with them yesterday. Wanted to make a clean and simple kinda card as I find them a bit of a challenge, not sure about the butterflies and afterwards had the idea of using my Memorybox butterfly but that will be for another day.

One photo, three Layouts

Had an off day yesterday so didn't feel up to doing much of anything. Knew I shouldn't off overdone the housework but it has to be done now and again. Watched Ladies in Lavender in the afternoon, Had the most unlikely  company to watch it with too! My son said he couldn't believe he was sitting here watching it with me, although he did keep switching over to Top Gear in the intervals so annoying that as they always forget to switch back in time. Hate having off days, think they're such a waste so in the evening made an effort and did some digi scrapping with my memories. Only managed one page but pleased I did that. This is a piccy of my granddaughter when she was about a year and a half, can't believe she's off too school this year, where does the time go!

This one I have made card size,

If you've been thinking of trying digital scrapbooking, why not pop over and check them out. There's a discount code on my sidebar you can use to save money if you wish to go for it.
