Just a Reminder of BTC&G April Challenge

Finding it hard at the mo to do any card making or blogging. So much seems to be going on around me and just can't keep up. It's so scary how the week just seems to fly by.  This is the final sample for By The Cute And Girly challenge this month, theme Cute & Girly, still plenty of time to enter. Made this for my granddaughter Naomi for her next birthday, coming four soon and already into her jewellery.These LOTV images reminded me so much of her.  Filled all the drawers with a selection of necklaces, bangles etc. Thanks to my lovely talented teamie Lisa for the idea.

Happy Birthday

Well my wondering son finally appeared home last night and was sooooooooooo good to see him. Had a lovely family meal and yes I overate on the Lemon Meringue! Two helpings, was so yummy couldn't help myself. Then it was pressy time for us all.

My card I made for my crafting friend Helen. Popped in yesterday morning with it, although a day late but there was still some yummy Chocolate marl cake left. Couldn't resist, no wonder I don't loose weight!

WOMWW

Good morning from an EXCITED little old me! Todays the day and I having great trouble contain ing my excitement, well I'll just have to for about another ten hours, gosh that's nearly the day over! My Son Alan is going to surprise me, well I say that as he thinks I don't know but he told me a couple of months ago and has forgotton he had (some of my forgetfullness must off rubbed off). Home after nearly  eighteen months living in Australia. Everybodies coming for dinner and preparing his favourite, probably don't go together but who cares. Macaroni last minute re- think, Chicken Olives (decided it's less work for me, considering I'm feeding seven adults and two kids) and Lemon Meringue Pie, all those calories, must make sure there's not much left for me!

Really a floor cupboard (daren't take up any more of the Sunroom floor space) but looks like it's going to stay up there, didn't take long to find stash to hide away out of sight! Top row some of my stamps!! A tiny sewing machine, yet to be used, second row Cricut boxes and box of 6x6 papers and bottom row my underused Cricut. Hope this is about to change. On the very top my adorable grandkids.

Started colouring these at Saturdays class with Debbi and as you can see not any further on. So much other things getting in the way at the mo. Wedding Invites just about there with them so a nosey is on the cards once there completed. My favourite coffee cup to the right and my new free reading glasses, hopefully will be firmly on my nose when crafting now instead of hidden under all the mess I create!

Cute & Girly Month!

Showing you my second DT sample for By The Cute And Girly Challenge this month. Anything cute and girly is the theme and just had to use this Funkykits adorable image, she is just so cute and girly for me! Coloured with Promarkers, my new found love of colouring and making a big hole in my pocket once again!! Had an afternoon with Debbi  on Saturday afternoon, had a lovely time and hopefully have learned something from her. She makes it look o so simple, we'll see!  And Aud took along the curse of my life, Chocolate cake, there goes my pound loss for the week, right down the Swanny and worse, she sent some home with me and it's all gone, thanks Aud.

Sharing a bit of mother nature with you this morning on WOYWW! Went out for a stroll round my untidy garden this morning with my cuppa and was peering into my pond and up popped this little fella to say goodmorning I think!

Are they last years taddy's come back to mate, I would like to think so. Spotted six of them swimming around. Ran, well stumbled back to the Sunroom for my camera and back hoping they would play ball and pose for me. Managed about half a dozen shots before camera died on me, typical. Was a real privilage to be part of their lives for that few mins. What a lovely start to a hopefully sunny warm day or so they say. Back to the Wedding invites, must get them finished this week, Mr Mojo has left the building! Mind you, don't blame him with all these alterations going on. Right a very quick recharge (gosh I wish I could do that) to post these photos

Blogger said they won't have a blog if their name doesn't highlight when you click on it. Have since seen this is not always the case when one of you left me a comment.  Would love to visit you and the only way is if you leave me a comment on one of my posts so I can visit you from there. April Challenge over on By The Cute & Girly

I am so late with my DT post for By The Cute & Girly. Been flaging this week and had to go into Aberdeen on Friday , got a late eye appointment. Ended up on the scrap heap yesterday, not much good for anything. A really early night and feeling a lot better again.  Should not of left it to the last minute lol! Well I'm just about bankrupt after that visit so expensive, whittled it down to three pairs and oh yes, had to pick the dearest, should of looked at the price tags first but then again have to look at them everyday so got to get it right. Did get a free pair for reading so ideal for my crafting, hopefully won't loose them amongst my messy desk and have to tidy up to find them, should be firmly on my nose from now on! Two hours in there and all I had all day was one cup of coffee, was gagging by the time I got home. When hubby picked me up from train station his first comment was 'you didn't get that Next bag in the Opticians', well had to have something to show for the long day! Right, my card. First sample for our Cute & Girly theme this month.  No sentiment added as waiting for an occasion.
