Asked to make this for my Son's girlfriends Mum's 50th birthday. Something special she said in purples and greens with cute characters. Well, love playing with Tim Holtz distressing inks, Hero Art backgrounds and the adorable characters from Penny Black and last but not least my Cricut. A real pickle I got into, couldn't get my design studio to work on my new laptop, stupid me had lost the serial no to re register it. Also my CD was dated so had to download the software from Cricut.  Just want to say a big thank you to Cricut for helping me out. Saying that, had a big tidy in my craft area yesterday and yes, it was hiding away at the back of a shelf. Lesson learned, have put it away in it's box, if there is a next time. If anyone's reading (family) would love  a  GYPSY for Christmas!!!!

Penny Black - Tiny Wishes stamps
Hero Arts - background stamps
Distress inks - dusty concord, milled lavander, shabby shutters
Embossing powder - Lilac

Challenges - Anything but a card  - Lazy hazy days of Summer - in the garden - Summer days - A burst of Summer

What's my card got to do with Summer? The purples remind me of  Lavender and it's gorgeous smell and the greens remind me of  how lush our gardens and countryside are at this time of year and not forgetting the constant grass cutting! Thanks for looking at my card.
