Frame it

Hello everyone, my card today I hope has a vintage feel to it. Was asked to do this for someone so hope this is how she invisaged it would look like. When I make cards like these, I try to think of the person giving and also very important, the person receiving it. Always ask plenty questions to try and get it right and not to much of what I like if you know what I mean. Good feeling when you hit it right on the head.

Okay ribbon from the Ribbon Girl, yummy
A gorgeous pin I won from Brenda
Pearl brad from a sample wedding invite
Lace from stash

Penny Black - Sweet Pleasure
Hero Arts - French Lettering
Roses from stash

Background is Hero Arts small dots, the frame I cut from linen card and then embossed with an embossing folder then inked with TH to give a vintage feel. The border I used linen card and again inked, then embossed. Distressed all the edges

  14. I'm sure the person you've made this for will absolutely love it. You've really executed this look wonderfully well, the faded, elegant colour scheme, the worn and distressed edges, the whole thing is top notch! Thanks so much for joining us for this week's Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge!
