Hello, I'm back

Hi everyone, back from my hols and up to my eyes in washing lol. A bit weary but hopefully be up to speed again very soon. Thought hols were supposed to be laid back, . haven't walked so much in a long time, my poor legs just about came to a stand still well in fact they tripped me up on a few occasions and introduced me to the ground and not a G&T in sight lol. We had a great time, lovely scenery,  weather, food  and company. Found a great craft shop in Victoria, only ten mins from our hotel, how jammy was that, only snag was we were on our way to catch the ferry to Vancouver so not the usual long drool over all the yummy stash.

Went to a gold mining village some 6000 ft up in the mountains. A blast from the past of how these people lived. Here's hubby and me looking to make our fortune panning for gold. Didn't quite grasp the technique but you all come away with a few grains of the yellow stuff in a keepsake bottle. Oh well back to the Lotto to find my fortune!

Closest we got to fun in the snow. Was not an easy mobile to get out of I can tell you.

The restaurant on top of Whistler Mountain

Views from the top of the Chair Lift

Coming into Vancouver, my all those Skyscrapers.

Visited Capilano Suspension Bridge. Dizzy heights and thrills on this one!

I am terrified of heights but  this walk just had to be done but did draw the line on the glass bottom ledge you could stand out on. Would of been a real stoushie if I had gone on that I can tell you.

Hope to be back with a card soon and catch up with you all. Oh and I have some exciting news to share!

bye for now
