Whats On My Workdesk Wednesday! 95

Nothing exciting I'm afraid. Had a big tidy up amoungst my cards and they are being enveloped and cellod ready to be sold this Friday at a fund raiser for Cancer. Some go back a couple of years and made me cringe looking at them! How are styles change over time, for the better I'm thinking! Just need to finish a few off with sentiments and get them boxed up. So that means I've some spare room in my craft cupboard! Mmmnnnnn, I wonder!!! Hope your joining in over at Julia's Stamping Ground, What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday,
see you around.

Good cause Carol - bet you are sorry to part with some of them.
I have made more cards this last week than I have done for the rest of the year but have thoroughly enjoyed it . Thought I was going to have to sell all my stuff as the mojo was just not there. Thanks to you all last Tbhursday for getting me going again.

Your desk looks a little as mine did at one point yesterday, when I was doing the same job and bagging up a load of cards, old and new in my case. I think I shall have to follow your example and donate a few to charity. I think we all change and develope as crafters. Apart from the changes in fashion, the amount we now have to choose from has exploded, and we have so much more choice in tools and papers etc, not to mention the amount we can get via our computers.

My mum keeps all the cards I have made - going back 15 years now - and the early ones make me cringe too! Good luck with your fund raiser.

What a good idea Carol I tell you I revamped my craft room last week and I have to say Im embarrased to show you cards that I 1st made you would think it was my 8 yr old niece that made them. At the time thought they were good too. Catch up soon. Aud x

Hope your cards sell well Carol. I'm sure they will though. Know what you mean about earlier cards making you cringe. Sometimes it's just ones from a year earlier not even really old ones!

It is amazing how we develop and gain more confidence and knowledge too. At least your older cards can be for a good cause, sure someone will still buy them and they'll be appreciated.

You’re so right about your styles changing. I was looking back at some photos of my early cards and they don’t bear any resemblance to the cards I make now.

Hope the fund raising goes well at the weekend, Cancer research need all the help it can get.

Happy Crafting!
