Well I hope my crafting friends enjoyed their afternoon yesterday as much as I did playing with all my new Hero Arts stamps and Tim Holtz inks and there's more on the way, great, more fun to look forward too. Now must get back to tidying my sunroom, always make more mess than when I started. It's a lovely sunny day and changed all my cushions and covers so least I have done something in the housework line for a change.

Back to the Future

Morning folks, Hero Arts seem to be the in thing with me at the moment, loving all this playing around with their stamps and using Tim Holts inks. Stamps and inks strewn everywhere, such a messy crafter am I. So next job is to get tidied up, especially as my granddaughter will be making an appearance tomorrow and she makes a bee line for my stash. Not quite ready for handling these big stamps.

RACING TED

The saying wash day blues  is certainly with me today. Ropes full and the washing was fairly blowing round the wirly this morning, that is till the rain caught me out. Pouring down and now a limp load of clothes dangling from the lines. Well will have to just dangle, A card to make and has to be done prompto, my son chasing me to get it done today so better do as am told, not something I'm good at doing (like to go with the flo).
Over on the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge Blog the theme for this week is 'A Day Out'. A card for my Neice to give to her father. He's busy having fun days out with his new toy, A blue sports car. Men and their cars! Do they ever grow up?

Penny Black Challenge -Monochromatic Browns

Brrrrrrrrrrrr! so cold here today, winter has returned, hailstones and howling gale, where's my thermals! My card is for the Penny Black Challenge, this week Monochromatic browns is the order of the day. Thanks to Kath for the inspiration she keeps spinning out day after day,( if you haven't found here blog yet, it's a must, but don't blame me for the must haves she keeps using) a lot to learn but really enjoying the learning curve. Kind of shyed away from stamping as am no artist but who needs to be I have learned and if you seen how many I am stashing away in folders and drawers you would never of guessed. Shhhh! just don't let on to Hubby!!

A sunny Monday morning to you out there and no I haven't been beavering away this morning and produced a card. Must say really enjoying this stamping malarky, just wish there was classes out there to give me more confidence and techniques, there's nothing like hands on to get it into my thick skull, memory a bit dull nowadays. Middleage! not going down that road, body maybe, we can't do much about that, well we could but I would rather spend !spend! spend on craft goodies so much more fun don't you think? Well I've certainly been doing that this past few weeks so I better get and try out all these lovely stamps that keep popping through the post.

Rockin Hubby!!

Well I've finally managed a card for Cards for Men Challenge blog, 'FANCY FOLDS' took my time getting round to it but hopefully will be the first of many,not that this is my first man card ever. A bit of luck, had already made the card before checking out blog, Made before my Sister-in-lay asks,usually the day before, am ready for her this year, then again maybe she's shop buying this year, we will soon find out.

Flower Power

Evening folks, been at this card since yesterday late morning, on a go slow and it's already late. Followed a spoonful of sugar's  sketch challenge this week and since I'm on a go slow, hopefully it suits a couple of other challenges at the same time.
No cards for a couple of days. Off sightseeing, stopping off at Balmoral Castle and Tea out on the way home, hope the sun shines for us.

Goodbye Tension Hello Pension

Oh dear, at it again, making cards at the last minute, never learn! Off to a Retirement party tomorrow night, bought something new to wear so will be RARIN to go ( well I hope I am). This is my card, just have to make an envelope for it.
Used my Cricut for the lettering and stamped and embossed words onto backing card.

Not a designer paper in sight

Afternoon to you all out there, very windy here, finally shifted the last of the snow and the unplanned pond that appeared in my garden. Hoping to get some crafting done later. Playing about without using papers, kind of lost my way, havent made cards like this for ages. I never plan my cards so love it when they turn out something like!

Used white hammer card, inked with Tim Holtz Vintage Rose (my brayer finally coming to the fore), Cuttlebug folders, stamp from crafty individuals inked with Hero Arts soft sand. Don't know if I need a greeting or not, what do you think?

By The Cute And Girly April Challenge

Hi everyone
My 1st DT challenge project "Fairytales" over on by the cute and girly and yes I'm late in posting, not a good start but we can never control the weather. Stormy here on Wednesday of this week, snow and high winds battered the N.E.of Scotland and brought everything around us to a halt. Power lines down Wednesday afternoon and have just been reconnected late this evening. Back to coal fires and candlelight and winter woolies in bed, forgot how cold upstairs could be without heating, brrrrrrrrrrrrr!
Onto this months challenge, look forward to seeing your creations, so much fairytale products out there, gorgeous stamps and decoupage just to mention two. I'm really a cardmaker nowadays but since it's a blog for all kinds of crafts thought I would have a change, long time since I did some dressmaking!

My first project is my fairy from our Christmas tree. She is older than me, better keep her age quiet then! Didn't pack her away this year, thinking I would redress her and along came this challenge, would have probably been left otherwise till the week before next Christmas knowing me.

My second project "A Fairytale Wedding" letter book has been used as a Bridal favour, handed over by my granddaughter Naomi to the bride. My first attempt using my Cricut to cut out the book 

            

Not playing about with these pics any longer, minds of there own so leaving well alone.
