WOYWW

Isn't he well disguised. A Sparrow Hawk made a visit yesterday morning. So well disguised amongst the dead flowers eating his breakfast! Didn't have time to futter with my new camera settings, didn't know how long he was going to stay. He could of been a bit more accomodating and stood to the side a bit!

Whats on my work desk , well in a mess as usual, there's no other way in my book, never have a plan, just go with the flow. Think I need to have a re think in the new year and get myself more organized, always working on the size of a postage stamp! Tell myself this every year and still no further on!  LOTV stamps on my desk, a little pressy to myself just before Christmas, well! can you blame me?  Don't get any crafty stuff from family but then, where would they start! Was in a bit of a panic yesterday, for the life of me couldn't remember where I had put them. Turned the whole place upside down looking for them and thought they had got caught up with the thrown out Christmas paper, Oh No!! All that yummy stamps lost for good. After rummaging half the afternoon came across them in the most unlikely place and for the life of me couldn't remember putting them there. Ah well, alls well that ends well, a happy bunny once again and now, off to have a bit of fun over on WOYWW.

Wishing you all a Happy Creative 2011

Glad you found your lost stamps, nothing worse than losing something...apart from losing craft stuff!

That photo of the hawk is fab, cant believe you had the camera close enough to take it in time.

Hope you have a wonderful new year and see you in 2011

oh what a shame he decided to hide in the flowers - you can see he's a very handsome laddie anyway.
I'm far too ashamed to show my desk today - it's been used as a dumping ground over the last week or so

Brilliant photo of the hawk - wish I could take photographs like that, however, I don't think I've ever been that close to a sparrow hawk :) Glad you found those stamps - good reason to have that wee re-think in the new year because there is nothing worse than having to hunt for something so precious - I know, it's happened to me before and why is it you can only imagine the very worst scenario! Wishing you and yours a healthy and happy New Year full of love and kindness. Elizabeth #57

Well, they say that New Year's resolutions last on average one week, but you can try ;) That sparrow hawk is amazing - I'd scare us both if I came that close. Hauoli makahiki hou from AmberInk, squeeking into the #1 position this week.

What a great picture of the sparrowhawk - and so well camouflaged too. Glad you found your stamps; it's strange how things hide in the most unlikely places!

Yes, I know I'm late getting here. I thought I had been here, but when I had to reboot, I lost track of where I was and now it's 2011 already. Took me a whole year to reach you (grin).

I spent a good amount of time looking for the sparrowhawk. You are right. S/He is well hidden, but your new camera captured him/her well.

I had to laugh at losing your stamps. I have been having the same problem for nearly two weeks. I have no idea where I put something and spend an insane amount of time looking for it. When I find it, I think why did I put it here. Here's to continued mental improvement for both of us in 2011. I'll see you Wednesday.
